Travel Bag: Beach Vacation Edition

Hi guys!

I have a beach vacation in my very near future, so excited! But that means that my normal makeup/skincare routine will be changing a whole bunch over the upcoming week.

I thought to share what I take in my travel makeup bag when on vacation: BEACH  EDITION! This stuff is almost all totally different products than if I were going on a city-work-type trip. So, here we go!

First off, SKINCARE

I try to wear as little makeup as possible when on a beachy trip. Like a little makeup detox session. That means that I bring a lot of skin-care type stuff.

I make sure to transfer my
entire skin care routine in little travel size containers. It’s doubly important to take care of your skin when you are being exposed to lots of sun. It helps ward off signs of aging and also prolongs your tan!

 Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser
 Boots Expert Sensetive Gentle toner
Cetaphil Dermacontrol Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30 (am)
 Ponds Rejuveness Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer (pm)
Neutrogena Healthy Skin eye cream (pm)

Next up, MAKEUP

Here is the measly amount of makeup that I’m taking with me. Haha! Normally I travel with several boxes full!

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream in 110 Light/Medium
Maybelline Color Tattoo pots in Bad to the Bronze, Tough as Taupe, and Nude Compliment
The Rocket Volum’ Express waterproof mascara
eyelash curler
L’Oreal Visible Lift CC Concealer in Light
Revlon Colorstay Concealer in Light/Medium

Lastly, Hair and Body

I like to bring all my normal hair products so I get TSA approved bottles and squeeze out however much I need. I also picked up a couple of the small travel sized bottles in case I need more than 4 ounces. The same goes for body lotion. I tend to mix my normal, super moisturizing lotion with some tanning lotion to give my tan an extra boost.

Organix Full and Thick Botin and Collagen Shampoo and Conditioner/ Treseme Shampoo and Conditioner (travel size)
Dove Deep Moisture body wash (travel size)
Walmart brand SPF 30 sunscreen
St. Ives Naturally Soothing Oatmeal and Shea Butter Body Lotion
Jergens Ultra Healing Moisturizer
Banana Boat Summer Color Self Tanning Lotion
Bio-Oil

Here are some last miscellaneous items

These are things that I almost always have on me but don’t really fall into any particular category

Target brand of the Neutrogena eye makeup remover
travel-sized Almay waterproof eye makeup remover pads
cotton disks
toothbrush, toothpaste
contacts, glasses, contact solution
deodorant
cotton swabs

Here’s what it looks like all packed up
BEFORE: Here it is all pilled up and in its small containers
AFTER: And ready for TSA inspection!
What do you take with you on vacation? Does your normal makeup routine change a lot or not at all? Let me know!

Until next time,
A
