Hi guys!
As some of you may know I was on vacation over the past week. Part of returning home and to my normal routine was to change up my normal skincare ritual. I like to keep my tan looking good for as long as possible!
These are the four products that I like to use.
After showering, I use the moisturizer then go over that with a body oil to lock in the moisture. A couple times a week I also like to use a self tanner to keep my tan in tip-top shape.
St.Ives Oatmeal and Shea Butter body lotion
Right now I am using (and loving) St.Ives Oatmeal and Shea Butter body lotion. It is good for dry itchy skin and absorbs pretty quickly. I have tried other brands with some favorites being Vaseline and Palmers Cocoa Butter.
Natura Body Oil
I follow up my lotion with a body oil. This is the one I am using right now, Natura body oil in sweet almond scent. This is a Brazilian product but there are other body oils available in both drugstores and high end. Neutrogena has a good alternative if you want something without a scent.
Bio-Oil
For really dry (or burned) patches and on my face, I like to use Bio-Oil. This is also a great product to mix with your moisturizer to give it some extra umph!
Banana Boat Summer Color Self Tanning Lotion
Twice a week I replace my body lotion with this self tanner. I have never had any problems looking like an Oompa-Loompa with this one while I have with all the other drugstore tanners I’ve tried. It has a color guard and blends in really well, never patchy.
Physicians Formula Bronze Booster in Light to Medium, Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Soft Matte Bronzer, and NYC Smooth Skin Bronzer in Sunny
How could I forget these! Normally I won’t gravitate too much toward using bronzer in the everyday but when I’m tan bronzer is a must! These are the three that I have tried and loved. They range in price with NYC being the most affordable and Estee Lauder the most expensive. They all add a nice warm glow as if you have just spent your day in the sun.
What does your skincare routine look like? Let me know!

Until next time,
