Hi guys!
First off can you believe that it is already the end of April? Where did this month go?
I’m back today with another look into my diet and everything that I ate yesterday. I am still trying to go sugar and gluten free during the week and I have started to notice some changes to my overall mood and cravings. Maybe at the end of the month I will do a post on it. Let me know if that would be something interesting to you!
Anyways, onto the food!
For breakfast I had my usual oatmeal with some strawberries and pumpkin pie spice. This is Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Quick Cooking Oats. They are perfect for the morning because you can just pop it into the microwave without any mess or fuss. I had that with some black coffee and that is my partner-in-crime’s toast.
For lunch I made a bagel sandwich with a Laughing Cow Light Garlic and Herb spread, 1/2 an avocado, and 2 eggs. I also had this with some grapes and a Babybel cheese.
For a midday snack, I was really craving sweets so I tried to beat them back by having some fruit (this normally works really well for me). I had a grapefruit and a little bit later a bowl of the largest strawberries I have ever seen.
Dinner was potatoes, sautéed collard greens (with some garlic and onion), and Aidells Spicy Mango Sausage. I don’t know what made me want sausage but it sounded really good and I conveniently had a package of them in the freezer. Aidells make really good products if you are interested in trying them. They are high quality chicken sausage, no preservatives, and great flavors that are a little unexpected in my opinion.
