I’m back to show you guys the beauty products that I bought and have been testing out this month. I didn’t get that many things but I ended up with several high end products, not normally my style.
This month was mostly makeup and a couple body lotions.

Lorac Unzipped Palette
My biggest purchase this month was this palette. A range of nude and pink shadows with warm undertones makes this quite a versatile palette. I won’t be needing the Naked 3 palette now that I have invested in this one! Out of the ten shades, five are matte and five are shimmer. I’m sure this will become a favorite of mine. Urdan Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray
My friend recommended this setting spray to me saying that she sweats during work outs and afterwards her makeup is still flawless. As summer is coming, I decided to test it out so that I could switch up my foundation routine but still get the same lasting powers that I get from my Estee Lauder Double Wear. So far it has lived up to its reputation! I got this tester size at Sephora but I might consider getting the full size later on down the road.
Two Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and Waterproof Eyeliner Duo
Another tester sized product that I got at Sephora. This mascara has been out and popular for a while so I feel like the last person getting on the bandwagon. I normally don’t go for high end mascara simply because the drugstore has so many great options for a fraction of the price but I decided to give this a go. The Better Than Sex mascara gives my lashes crazy volume and length although I do wish that it was waterproof. I’m less impressed with the liner as it smudged on me the very first time that I used it even though it claims to be waterproof and resistant to transferring/smudging. Again, I prefer my drugstore alternatives, especially for a product that I use everyday and run through quickly.
Nivea Sun-Kissed Radiance Gradual Self Tanner
I picked up this lotion as a mid-week alternative to full self tanner. It gives my tan a bit of a boost without turning too orange, too dark, or streaking. It also doubles as a is super moisturizing lotion. So far I have been loving it. I think it might work well in the winter as well, to just warm up the skin a bit without too much unnatural color.
Banana Boat Summer Color Self Tanning Lotion in Deep Dark Color
This is a repurchase as I recently ran out of my favorite self tanner. This Banana Boat Self Tanner is the only one that I have tried without any problems or mishaps. It blends well, doesn’t streak, matches my skin tone, has a color guard, and is really affordable. While I prefer the Light/Medium color tone, the Deep Dark Color also works very well but is more dramatic from one day to the next.
This is a repurchase as I recently ran out of my favorite self tanner. This Banana Boat Self Tanner is the only one that I have tried without any problems or mishaps. It blends well, doesn’t streak, matches my skin tone, has a color guard, and is really affordable. While I prefer the Light/Medium color tone, the Deep Dark Color also works very well but is more dramatic from one day to the next.
Covergirl Lashblast Fusion mascara in Brown
I picked up this mascara at the beginning of the month as I ran out of the other brown mascara I was using. I have tried the Lashblast Volume and wanted to give this one a go, as I have heard only good things about it. So far I have really been liking it for day when I go for a natural or simple eye look (sometimes I find black mascara to be too harsh looking on me).
