Hi guys!
It is mid July, considered the height of summer here in the Northwest U.S. As far as makeup goes, it is the time of year where everyone is starting to look a little healthier, a little more tan. For me that means it is time to toss aside my heavy and full coverage foundations and let my skin shine through. (It also allows me to show off the new tan!)
The past couple weeks I have been embracing my natural skin, blemishes and all, by using this concealer routine rather than my normal foundation-concealer-powder shenanigans.
I start with a washed and moisturized face.
Face Wash: Cetaphil
Moisturizer: CeraVe AM Face Lotion with SPF 30
Rather than cover my entire face, I use conceal only on areas where I need it. This for me is mainly on the center of my face to adjust redness or brighten and on my chin to cover some face demons that I am battling.
Concealer (face): Revlon Colorstay Concealer
Concealer (eyes): L’Oreal Visible Lift CC Concealer

Blend everything in with either fingers or a beauty sponge and that is it! For staying power and shine control, I will somedays set everything with a matte powder.
Powder: Rimmel Stay Matte
How do you let your skin shine in the summer?

I’m on ’em all!
Until next time,
Ana Luiza
