Sorry for being M.I.A. this past week. Things have been a little hectic and stressful around here over the past couple days. But now I am back and wanting to share a couple new things with you guys during this upcoming week!

I went to my first B-B-Q of the summer this weekend and wanted to look casual but polished at the same time (not only was it a BBQ but also a networking event). I opted for skinny jeans with a loose and frilly top, completed by my staple platform sandals. As the weather has been warm (-ish, in my opinion), I grabbed my favorite lightweight sweater to toss into my bag.
