Mini Ulta Haul

Hi guys!

I recently had to go to Ulta to pick up a few things and, of course, ended up with a couple of things to show you guys. Some of you may know that I can do serious damage in Ulta, so I am impressed with my own restraint during this past trip. These are either refill items or something I wanted to test out for a while. No impulse buys!

Take a look!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation in Light Sand
(find here)
I was suggested this foundation when I wanted something similar to the Estee Lauder Double Stay foundation. It is a creamy full coverage and I was impressed that the line has a variety of different undertones so you can find your shade in either yellow or pink undertones. I have yet to give it a good first go but I will let you know how the two compare.

Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipstick in 655 Daring Nude
(find here)
This is a new line of lipsticks from Maybelline that comes in ten shades. I picked out this nude pink because there were slim pickings. Overall I am pleased with this lipstick because it is very creamy and doesn’t feel dry even though it is a matte. I am interested in checking out some other colors

Maybelline Brow Drama brow mascara in Soft Brown
(find here)
This is great for those who want to start getting into the eyebrow game. It gives a tiny amount of color and hold to keep them from doing anything too strange.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail polish in Red Eye
(find here)
I wanted to try out this “miracle” gel nail polish and I can’t say that I’m all that impressed. It chipped after a few days and the color selection doesn’t look all that large. I would rather use their Salon Complete range of polishes than this gel range

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
(find here)
I bought this makeup sponge because I do not have it in me to buy a real Beauty Blender. I can’t justify $25 on a sponge but for $5, why not. It gives my makeup a beautiful and natural looking finish, especially when using thicker or heavier foundations.

Have you guys tried any of these products?
Would you like to see a more in depth review of anything?
Let me know in the comments!

Until next time,

I have a full review along with a comparison the the Estee Lauder Double Wear in the works, so definitely keep an eye out for that in the near future if you want more info on the foundation!
