Hi guys!
I received another Ipsy bag for the month of November. This month’s theme was “Girl Meets Glitter” featuring glitter shadows and dramatic lip color perfect for the holiday season
Take a look!
Be a Bombshell Eyeshadow Base in Submissive
This reminds me of the Maybelline Color Tattoos but not as pigmented color. It seems more like a primer with glitter rather than a product that could stand alone as a shadow.
Tarte Maracuja Oil
This is the product that I am most excited about testing out! I love oil moisturizers in the winter because even though I have oily skin it gets dry patches when the weather dries out. I’ve heard great things about this moisturizer so let’s give it a go.
J.Cat Wonder Lip Paint in Red Potion
I can see myself using this lip paint all throughout the remainder of Fall and through Winter. It is a beautiful deep berry color that applies glossy but dries matte. When it dries, it has a matte finish but isn’t drying at all. it almost feels as if there isn’t anything on the lips. So far, I’m very happy with it.
Demeter Pixie Dust Roll-On Perfume
This is the one item from this month’s bag that I don’t think I will use that often. It is an oil based roll on perfume, which allows the scent to penetrate the skin and have something to cling to, thus lasting longer. However the scent is a (very) sweet one; not my style.
SeaRx Skincare Micro-Dermabrasion
I haven’t done a ton of micro-dermabrasion but I do like to exfoliate about once a week, so I can see this product coming in handy. It has a strong citrus scent, which I like, and can also point to containing different acids that are used to exfoliate the skin. This is another product that I am interested in using during the winter months to get rid of those dry skin patches.
Overall I’m really happy with all the different products in this month’s bag. I can see myself using all but the roll-on perfume on a regular basis.
Have you tried Ipsy or any other subscription service?
How did it work out for you?
Let me know in the comments!
Until next time,
Ana Luiza
