Hi guys!
I’m back with another Winter Travel Essentials Guide but this time, style! It was hard for me to make a list of the top things people might need during winter travel season, so I only included the heavy-hitters-must-haves for cold climates.
Take a look!
1) Boots
Basic foot wear for any winter travel includes boots. For the city dwellers, black tall shaft boots go with nearly anything while duck hunting boots are both functional and fashionable for those who want to play in the snow.
2) Scarf
Not only is a warm scarf a wonderful accessory for the winter, it also can double as a blanket during flight lay overs or naps in the car. Zara’s blanket scarves are the best to try out for this season. Plus they’re huge!
3) Coat
This of course needs to be suitable for your destination. Midwest? Down parka. Big Apple? Wool overcoat. Try a color other than black or grey for a statement coat.
4) Smart Touch gloves
Keep those fingers warm but operate your smart phone at the same time! These are pretty much the best smart phone accessory out there. I love these leopard print ones from Target
5) Hat
Now I’m not a hat person (I prefer to wrap my scarf around my head) but for those of you who are there are a ton of styles to go try. Slouchy beanies look the warmest and add to a casual comfy travel-day outfit.
6) Fleece lined leggings
If you guys haven’t tried these out yet, run don’t walk to the closest store that sells them. These are my end all be all trick to staying warm. They come in all different patterns as well as plain old solids that can be worn UNDER PANTS without additional bulk!
