In the winter, most people tend to suffer from dry skin, even us oily skin girls. While in the summer I have oily skin, in the winter I start to have dry patches and a dull look to the skin. For today, I thought to share with you guys what I do to fake healthy glowing skin.
Take a look!
I find that the key to faking great skin in the winter is to work with cream products. I use a radiance boosting primer for that “inner glow”, whether or not I feel glowy. To brighten, I use a salmon colored concealer under the eyes, down the bridge of the nose, and in the center of the forehead and chin. From there I used a BB cream rather than traditional foundation as it adds extra hydration and allows natural features of the skin to shine through. For both blush and highlight, I use cream formulations as they give a more natural and youthful look. If necessary, use powder but I focus it only on the areas I get the most oily. I use blush high on the apples of the cheeks and highlighter on the tops of the cheek bones and on the ridge of the nose. I also like to apply cream highlight under the arch of the eyebrow and in the inner tear duct to enhance the eyes.
