1) Drink More Water
This is the number one easiest way to be healthier! Ditch the lunchtime soda, swap the afternoon coffee for some extra H2O. Drinking more water should help clear skin conditions, do away with the 3 o’clock slump, and curb cravings just to name a few benefits. The easiest way to determine the amount of water you should be drinking is to take your weight, divide by two, and drink that final number in fluid ounces.
Opt out of the elevator and take the stairs. It adds steps to your day and just that little bit of movement can make a difference. Need to get your heart rate up? Try going up the stairs as fast as you can a couple times. It can’t hurt can it?
3) Drink Your Fruits and Veggies
Sometimes it’s hard to get in all the vegetables and fruits needed for a healthy diet in a lunchtime salad. Next time try drinking your veggies in some fresh juice! Juicing vegetables can get an entire head of kale into your system when otherwise it would be near impossible to eat. Need fruit to sweeten the deal? Try blending some fresh or frozen fruit into your vegetable juice for a natural sweetener.
4) Take Time for Yourself
Take time to decompress at the end of the day. Whether that means a yoga class, a glass of wine, or turning off your cell phone, find what helps you leave your stress of the day behind. It should help you clear your mind allowing you to enjoy your evening and get a great nights sleep.

5) Get Outside
Just a few minutes if fresh air and sunshine can do wonders for all of us. Not only is the fresh air invigoration but any exposure to sunlight can improve one’s mood! What is one healthy thing that you try to do daily?

This post makes me happy that I have a bottle of water on my desk that I'm working on drinking right now! 🙂
Me too! I always try to gauge my water consumption by the number of times I've filled my water bottle. Thanks for reading!

It really is! Starting is always the hardest. Thanks for stopping by Christine
Great information. Love this positive post!
Thank you Barbara!
I drink a ton of herbal tea during the day, but have also started to incorporate straight water into my day. These are great tips that are simple enough for everyone to follow!
Thanks Jessica! I'm glad you found it helpful!
I love this list! I never used to think that getting outside and breathing in some fresh air was that big of a deal until I started going on long walks and hikes. Now I totally crave it and have to get outside or else I go stir crazy. I've even gone on a walk when it was sprinkling/drizzling outside because of it. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Miranda! I always need a little fresh air in my day too or else I start to get a bit of a headache
One healthy I do is keep up with my water! I have recently bought two large glass containers and keep my water in them because that is how much water I need to drink.
Thanks for reading! The water is the best and easiest way to help your health!
Totally agree with #2! Plus, you can't get stuck taking the stairs 😛 lol
Exactly!
Thank you for your practical tips! I have been drinking my water! Need to do the other things – and definitely agree we need to rest and take time for ourselves!
