Happy Memorial Day everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Mine was filled with house remodel work. We took a necessary break from sanding, painting, and cleaning for some yummy Indian food and to see Mad Max: Fury Road.
The only thing that I had heard about the movie prior to watching it was that it had a heroine rather than a hero. Needless to say, about five minutes in I was asking myself “what the heck are we watching!” But if you like action movies, this one doesn’t disappoint (especially in the number of car chases and explosions).I wore this look full of favorites over this past weekend. You are probably getting sick of seeing this pink moto jacket but I can’t get enough of it. This leopard print shift dress is another favorite that I was happy to finally get to wear again after many months being in the back of the closet.

For families with loved ones in the armed forces or for anyone who has lost someone in the defense of this country, my thoughts are with you today. I hope you get to spend some time together with family and friends to remember those in uniform and the sacrifices they are making.

LOL we actually watched Mad Max for the second time yesterday. I guess my husband really liked it and was down to watch with another set of friends. I was just happy because the theater has reclining chairs! I love that you wore flats with this outfit!
Haha no way! I liked it well enough but I was pretty confused for a healthy sized chunk of the film. I love those super fancy pants theaters with comfy chairs. Where I live there is even a bar so you can enjoy a glass of wine with your movie. Thanks for reading!
