This past week my mister and I went on a road trip to California and back up the coast. The BIG stop on this trip for me was a day at Disneyland! I haven’t been since I was a small child and don’t have memories of the place so everything was new, fun, and exciting. Let me say that the attention to detail in that place is INSANE! Every little detail is obviously meticulously thought out and executed to perfection. It really blew me away.
We arrived at our hotel (which was across the street from the park, a set up I highly recommend) late on Monday afternoon and after a quick dinner at happy hour went out to explore ‘Downtown Disney’. I wore easy and comfortable straight leg jeans and simple red tee for a day of driving and an evening of sightseeing. The ears were added after arrival 😉
We wanted to get our money’s worth out of this trip to Disneyland so we were there ALL. DAY. LONG. I’m talking from 30 minutes after the park opened to midnight when they close it down. I wanted to stay comfortable all day without simply resorting to wearing gym clothes so put (probably too much) consideration into what to wear. I opted for slightly loose fitting distressed boyfriend shorts (currently less that $20!), a loose flowing-type top, and comfy but cute sneakers. This kept me cool through the 90 degree day and comfortable throughout lines and in rides.
Have you guys ever been to Disneyland? I swear I couldn’t get a big fat grin off my face the entire day! It was incredible fun!

I love Disneyland! I just took my daughter there for her birthday. We were there all day after it took me 9 hours of driving there overnight. It was amazing though.

Thanks Danielle! There were tons to people, and not just kids mind you, wearing Minnie ears so I didn’t feel out of place. Not that I would have anyways. I just wanted to be themed 😉 If there is one place to wear them, Disney is the location!
