Ahh the chambray shirtdress. The perfect dress it up, down, or sideways summer piece in my opinion. Add heels and a belt for a bit of a dressier look or go casual with sandals and a denim jacket. Since I have a thing for doubling up on my denim and apparently chambray, I added another chambray button up around the waist. Heeled sandals and a couple pops of pink I was set for a dinner date night.

Another perk of the chambray shirtdress (aside from being chic and timeless without being a try-hard) is that it is perfectly cool in the summer months. And again, yes both meanings of the word 😉 It is airy, light, and breathable, which are all things I want in off-duty clothes.
