If you’re a regular reader of Northwest Blonde, you know that I love a good midi skirt. (If you’re not a regular, Hello! Welcome! Glad you’re here!) It is a piece of clothing that is classic, feminine, and forgiving of flaws. For ladies of all shapes and sizes, a mid length skirt can balance out our figures, adding curves where we want them all while hiding imperfections. They are also wonderful for us 9 to 5ers as mid length skirts generally hit just below the knee and therefor pass the office test. Mikarose Boutique is great option for the fashionable working ladies out there as they carry loads of skirts and dresses that have slightly longer hem lines but are still colorful, bright, and on trend.
Since finding this cobalt blue midi skirt from Mikarose Boutique, I know I will be wearing this skirt throughout the fall. This skirt is a heavier than it’s summer cousins, which makes it perfect for when the weather cools off. Plus, it has pockets! A rarity among skirts.
Mikarose has been kind enough to give a $50 gift card to one of my Instagram followers, so make sure to head over there to enter to win!

You can also find my tutorial for this chunky dutch side braid here. It’s a favorite of mine for getting an extra day out of my blow dry.

Cute outfit, I particularly love the necklace!
I love the pop of color you chose with the bag! That’s my favorite way to dress, add a pop of color. Your braid is gorgeous. I have never been able to master the Dutch braid. =)
Thanks Miranda! I’m also all about the pop of color!
