Purple Pleats

TJ Maxx - purple - pleated skirt - midi skirt - Northwest BlondeThat moment when Mother Nature gives you that perfect Beyonce billowing hair weather, one takes full advantage. Haha I’m not sure if it is coming across but these pictures were taken right after a windstorm that had us without power for 14 hours and many in the Pacific Northwest without power for days. Needless to say the beginning of September has been very fall-like when normally we have summer weather for another month or so.

This pleated skirt is another piece that is transitioning me perfectly into this fall weather that we’ve been having. It will be on repeat a great deal this fall and who can blame me? The color is perfect to transition from summer into fall, not too bright, not too deep. If the weather is decent I can wear it with a simple tee and sandals but with cooler weather you will see it again layered with button ups and sweaters. Who else loves pleated skirts?! They are feminine, so flattering, and remind me of the flapper era skirts modernized.
