So there is no beating around the bush, we are in winter here in the Pacific Northwest. I’ve embraced the colder weather by adding two new pieces into my wardrobe: turtlenecks and a moto jacket. These are two pieces that you will want in your wardrobe this fall and all through winter. While I’ve been wearing the two together non-stop, they are also incredibly versatile pieces that will get you through winter in style.
Want to add some cool city girl edge to a feminine look? Add your moto jacket! Want a warm but on trend look for Sunday brunch? Turtleneck and skinnies have you covered! Try a turtleneck and statement necklace for an office appropriate look. While the tight black turtleneck may be a little too Steve Jobs for some, try a looser chunky knit turtleneck for a relaxed look and feel.
Will you be picking up a new knit turtleneck or two this winter? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks Jaymie!
I would be ECSTATIC if it stayed cold here in Houston. Unfortunately, the weather here is akin to temperature-bipolar. Lower degrees translates into more opportunities to wear lovely jackets and OTK boots like you’re doing so beautifully in these pictures 🙂
Thanks for reading Sheela! I have family in Houston so I know how hard it can be to truly rock those winter styles!
The look is great esepcially because you added the bone/beige colour boots. It makes a whole difference. I co-hosted my first link-up this week. It was fun! would love if you can join in next Wednesday. Here was the link up; http://the-wardrobe-stylist.com/2015/11/26/1st-linkup-black-friday-best-deals/
Thanks for reading Rania! I’ll make sure to check out the linkup
I know this is an old post, but this outfit is so fantastic! I love the boots, love the color of them, and love how you paired them with all black, especially that jacket. So chic!
Thanks Lindsay!
