The beginning of the year is always the time that we promise ourselves that this is the year we’re going to get fit, eat right, sleep more, the list goes on. Well we’re are half way through January so I wanted to do a little check in. This year I resolved to get fit and clean up my diet. Sounds like a broken record, right? However this year I’m doing several things differently that are actually working.
Firstly, I have some serious motivation. T-six months to Mr.A and mine’s wedding! Yes, walking down the aisle in a white dress is enough to motivate this girl to get her butt into action however this isn’t the only thing.
Secondly, I’ve invested in both a detox/diet and a workout program that are built around communities and have support systems and safety nets. This has been key to my staying on tract especially with my diet (hello crazy sweet tooth!) There is nothing like seeing how other people are progressing and succeeding every time I log into Facebook to help keep me on track. If you are looking to get in shape without a gym membership, I highly recommend this workout program. It’s 30 minutes three times a week and it will have you sweating, trust me!
*Another workout program that is just as good and FREE is this one, which I also love!
Finally, I picked up some new workout gear. Let say that as much as I like Nike and Lululemon, I just can’t justify the price. I say splurge on a great pair of running shoes (I LOVE these ones) but look to save on things like sports bras, tanks, and leggings. Old Navy is my number one place for affordable and super cute workout gear with Forever 21 and Macy’s following close behind. I’ve linked a ton of great pieces below (just click on the image) if you are needing a little boost on those resolutions of yours.

I really need to get back into the swing of things when it comes to getting exercise! I love all of these pieces you shared, hopefully they’ll give me a little motivation!
