Valentine’s Day Braided Hairstyle

I wanted to share a quick and easy hairstyle for Valentine’s Day. This hairstyle is braided but works just as easily with twists if you aren’t comfortable braiding (just takes a couple extra bobby pins to secure your shape) and is super adaptable.

1. Start by parting your hair into a diagonal side part
2. Separate two large sections of hair on either side of your head and tie them into pigtails on the back of your head.
3. Once you’ve set both pigtails, braid both the entire length of the hair.
4. Loosely coil and pin each braid into a small bun, leaving a majority of the tail free.
5. Tie the two braids together, completing the heart shape.
6. Finally curl your hair and wrap a small piece of hair around the elastic and voila! You’re Valentine’s Day ready!
