I’m back home from New York Fashion Week and have a round up of some of my Instagram snaps from the past week. I know not all of you follow on there but I shared some day-to-day pictures as well as some of my favorite looks from the runway
Day 1 started the week with chilly temperatures but warm faux fur. See the entire post here
Rebecca Minkoff caused a stir when she announced that she would be showing her Spring/Summer 2016 collection instead of the traditional Fall/Winter collection. As soon as the runway show was over, customers could buy all the pieces they saw on the runway. This ruffled pink number was one of my many favorites. Shop the entire See, Buy, Wear collection here
I had the chance to partner with TRESemme while at NYFW. For day 2, one of their stylists created these beautiful tousled curls. Keep an eye out for a tutorial!
The weekend brought single digit temperatures, which had me more bundled than stylish. See the entire post here.
Rachel Zoe also presented over the weekend and the entire collection was to die for! Beautiful feminine lace and sparkle with structured masculine touches that created a perfect balance.
One of my favorite views of New York is from the Top of the Rock. Pack some snacks and you can sit and enjoy the view for hours.
The J.Crew presentation was another showstopper with a handful of incredible pink pieces you know I had my eyes on. This pink pant suit was one of many.
Another one of my favorite spots in the city is the flower district. The bright colors of all the flowers and greenery make quite to striking contrast to the grey concrete of the city (and weather).
After the cold, snow, and ice of the weekend came torrential rain. Trying to stay dry while running in between shows proved to be quite the challenge. See the entire post here.
One of the final shows I attended was Georgine and let me tell you I loved every single piece that came down the runway. The looks were fun, feminine, completely wearable, and possibly one of my favorite collections of the entire week!
Hair for day 5 was another look by TRESemme, this time a bunch of intricate braids.
Over the upcoming week, I’ll be posting a few other recaps of fashion week and sharing some of the upcoming trends we’ll be seeing next season. So keep an eye out for more fashion news that will keep you a head of the curve. Happy Weekend!

Her collection was amazing! That’s great that you were able to snap up some pieces from the collection. Everything I liked sold out too quickly!
Love all the shows you went to, and your hair! How did you get to be a part of fashion week/attend? I’m thinking about going in the fall!
Thanks for reading Ashley! I reached out to various PR teams that coordinate the shows and many responded with invites to shows and presentations. If you are interested in going this fall check out my post on ‘A Rookies Guide to NYFW’
Loving the braid hair-do. My favorite one was Georgine too, totally wearable!
