If you’ve ever looked at your wardrobe in the morning and said “I have nothing to wear” this one is for you. You know that I love classic and feminine style so today I’ve rounded up my top five favorite classic pieces that every woman should have in her wardrobe, which will make you feel chic the next time you “have nothing to wear”
First a little black dress. Ideally one that is dressy enough for the office but can be dressed down for more casual occasions. For this I say, go with a wrap dress. It’s a timeless staple for any woman’s wardrobe and is flattering on any figure. I love this wrap dress but if you can splurge, I say go for a classic DVF wrap.
Second is anything leopard. While a LBD is an always chic option, a little something leopard can spice up that all black canvas. Whether it’s a clutch, a pair of heels, or a belt, leopard is a great pattern to have in your wardrobe because it is super versatile and is practically a neutral in my book
Next up is a pair of heels that you can confidently strut your stuff in. You don’t need sky high stilettos if you look like Bambi on ice. I love these ones because they have a great silhouette but are still low enough I can walk in them all day without problems. Style Tip: Want to look more leggy? Opt for a pointed toe pump in a color close to your skin tone. It instantly elongates the legs.
Fourth is a trench coat. Much like your LBD and leopard accessories, it is perfect for both formal and casual occasions. Especially in a classic color like tan or black you can’t go wrong with your outerwear.
Finally, I say add a little bling. Something sparkly on your ears, wrist, and neck is bound to put a little pep in your step no matter what life throws your way.
How would you describe your style? Let me know in the comments!
