T-three months until Andrew and I tie the knot! I can honestly say that it didn’t become real in my mind until this past week when our wedding invitations arrived. Having our names with a date down on a piece of paper really made the difference.
We are having a chic garden wedding in a few months and one of the ways to set the tone for our guests was the perfect invitation. When they open up their card, I want them to see something timeless and classic. After looking at seemingly hundreds of options, we decided to get our invitations printed through the online stationary site, Minted.
For all the brides-to-be out there, I highly recommend going through Minted for all your wedding paper needs (invites, rsvp cards, menus, etc). I had used Minted for holiday cards in the past so I already knew that each card design is created by independent artists and graphic designers. There are seriously hundreds of designs to choose from and each is unique so you are bound to find something that fits you. We chose the theme ‘Chic Gala‘, as hopefully our wedding ends up being a chic gala, but there really is something for every one.
There were two parts of the process that went above and beyond for me. First was that we were able to make some design changes to our cards. Even though an artisan created a design, she was willing to make adjustments to suit our specific needs for no additional charge. And secondly was the inclusion of addressing. I couldn’t imagine either printing or hand writing address on over 100 envelops. But even in this, Minted had my back for no additional charge. I simply uploaded our guest list into their addresser and voila! Perfectly printed addresses on each envelop that matched the fonts on our invites. It was a breeze.
Have you used Minted before? Next time you need cards printed (hello holiday card 2016!) make sure to check out their incredible and extensive selection!
