Since the 70’s bohemian trend isn’t going anywhere I decided to dip my toe in and add just a hint of boho to my style. There are several ways that even girly girls like myself can incorporate this trend into our wardrobe.
1. Add a hat – floppy hats are a great way to start something new and different into your style.
2. Try a new print – there are certain prints which are great for a more boho vibe. Visit your local Forever 21 to test run some of these new prints on the cheap before investing in a whole new look.
3. Embroidery – Finding feminine pieces with some embroidered detail is a great way to test a trend while remaining true to your style. I love this dress for the summer time as it is light and airy but has the beautiful embroidered detail at the collar. I’ve linked several other favorites below because you’re going to want one for the warmer months!
4. Embrace earth tones – Leave you bright pinks at home and stick to more natural Earth toned palette. Cognac colored accessories are one great way to incorporate a natural color scheme into your look.
How do you like the bohemian trend? Have you tried it or it is just not for you? Let me know in the comments!
In other news, I’ve started a group Pinterest board if you’re interested in sharing your looks in a second place. Visit my Pinterest page here to see instructions for joining!
