It may be spring but we are still having some grey weather. Rather than feeling down and out, don’t let the weather get you down but embrace it with spring time monochrome. Wearing monochrome is one of my new favorite tricks to dressing stylishly on the fly. How hard is it to pick out a single color right?
I picked grey as there are an endless variety of shades within the range to choose from. Choosing several different shades within the color family help create a more dynamic look than a flat color head to toe. Adding different texture also helps. Mixing knits with denim and leather is one simple way to balance an single color from head to toe without it looking flat.
How do you wear spring time monochrome? Do you like light and airy colors or stick to dark colors? Let me know in the comments!
SWEATER: Old Navy // JEANS: Paige (40% off!) // SHOES: Nordstrom (on sale too!) // BAG: Givenchy // LIPS: Revlon BalmStain // SHADES: Karen Walker via Ditto (one month free with code NWBlonde)
I love this monochromatic look, and the pink shoes add the perfect pop of color!
