So remember Rose Quartz and Serenity Blue? Those lovely colors of the year have been forgotten in the excitement of fall and deep jewel tones. Well don’t think that you wasted your hard earned dollars on those lovely pieces you purchased in the spring. You can easily break out those pink and blue pieces now in the fall and winter with a few simple styling changes. Trust me, these #styletips are almost too easy to be true. Almost.
Pair It With Neutrals
While this may seem too simple but it’s a great way to incorporate pastel tones when they would be otherwise considered unseasonable. I’d wear Rose Quartz or Serenity Blue paired with grey and creme any day for a classic feminine look. Pink and camel is another great color combo that will have you rocking pink in the fall months.
For something a little different, Rose Quartz is also a great shade to pair with what I’m calling ‘new neutrals’. These are basically the colors (and prints) that play well with others. Today I’m mixing and matching rose with olive and leopard for a different spin on a still classic look.
And don’t forget that you can totally wear these colors together! Rose Quartz and Serenity Blue are not only beautiful colors alone but look lovely together as well!
What Pieces to Pick
Mixing these colors into your wardrobe can be as easy as choosing a few classic staples that you’ll be able to wear year round. A button up is one of my go-to’s as you can easily add or subtract layers depending on the weather. Here are some more Color of the Year pieces that you could easily add into your wardrobe and get year round wear:
Are you wearing the color of the year all year round or have you moved on? Let me know in the comments!

I love blush! (I know it’s called rose quartz, but have always called it blush) It really is so easy to pair with so many colors and is pretty on all skin tones!
