Yes, You Can Wear Floral in Winter

So it’s winter and one of the fashion rules we all abide by says no floral until the snow melts, right? Well, I say wrong! Let’s just go ahead and call those “fashion rules” what they really are, more like guidelines. You can totally wear florals in winter with a few easy modifications. Keep reading to find out how!

First off, yes, let’s just admit that this isn’t springtime and we don’t have to/shouldn’t wear floral prints the same way. But it’s an easy swap.

Simply wear darker toned floral!

Yes, it’s as easy as that. Darker toned florals or background color allows you to still have that feminine print in the dead of winter. The neutral or muted hues are simply more suited to the winter style pieces that are likely to accompany your floral print versus the brights or pastels that we all tend to favor in the warmer months.

Why even wear florals in the wintertime? Because you can break fashion rules or simply because you need a little feminine fix even in the cold and dark. No need to give me a reason. I’m just happy to have company 😉
