It’s been a hot minute but I’m back with the next installment of my ongoing Designer Alternative series. Today we’re tackling the Chloe D’Orsay Platform sandal. Only every blogger worth her very trendy salt was sporting a pair of these platform espadrille sandals last summer and it’s already looking like the shoe to be wearing this season as well.
Although we all love a great summer sandal, sadly for us fashionable girls on a budget we’d be forking out this (and next) month’s rent for a pair of these pretties. Yep, these Chloe Platform sandals come in between $600-$700 a pair. But not to worry, you know that I’ve got your fashionable back on this!
Keep reading for three excellent designer alternatives to the Chloe Platform espadrille sandals!
When Marc Fisher launched these look alike pair of platform sandals they sold out almost as once and for good reason! These aren’t an exact copy of the Chloe platform sandals but they might as well be. There are some minor differences in the two models but the biggest difference is in the price tag. While the Chloe sandal is in the $600 range, these Marc Fisher platform sandals are under $200! They’ve been restocked for this summer so snag a pair now while you still can!
Quite recently Steve Madden launched their version of the Chloe platform sandal and its received rave reviews already. While these are a little farther away from the original Chloe style, this Steve Madden platform sandal is a near exact match for the Marc Fisher platform sandal. I believe that these are currently exclusive to DSW so you know they will sell out in a heartbeat. Especially at the retail of $59!
These are the least like the original style but I’m mentioning for all you fashionable ladies who love the Chloe look minus the platform. These Clark espadrille sandals have the same style upper and ankle strap as the Chloe platforms but with a much lower clearance to the ground. Also good to note that Clarks have a fantastic reputation for longevity and comfort in their shoes and these sandals would give you all that plus stylish summer footwear for under $100!
Are you a fan of the Chloe platform sandals? Will you be saving up for the real deal or rocking a designer look alike? Let me know in the comments!
Until next time,
Ana Luiza

Gap has a look-alike, as well, in olive green that I’d love to get my hands on. But they’re sold out of my size. *sigh*
