Happy Friday babes! You all know that I’m not one of those bloggers excited for fall. Summer all the way! That being said, this past weekend the temperatures dropped and we got our first taste of fall.
While I might not be super excited about fall, and I know I’m in the minority, this weekend got me thinking about my fashion plan for the upcoming season. I’m not super caught up on what the latest trends will be but I’m not too worried because I plan on going back to the basics and to the classics!
What do I mean by “Back to the Classics”?
Here on Northwest Blonde, I have the tagline: classic style in a grunge town. I wanted this to be a place where we lovers of classic (and ok, a little feminine) style could gather and share about our style regardless of where we live. I just happen to live in a town where fleece isn’t just a fabric but a way of life.
This fall, I’m going to be mostly ignoring the hot trends of the season and going back to my style roots with classic pieces like blazers, boots, plenty of denim and, as always, red lipstick and high heels. Creative layering helps me get more mileage out of my wardrobe (as well as warmth in the colder months) and I want to share just how I do it with all of you.
If you’re interested in seeing more classic looks that are easy to recreate with items you probably already own, let me know! We can style together and strive for timeless rather than trendy this season!
Until next time,
Ana Luiza
