So, you don’t want to wear red and green this holiday season. I get it. It can be overdone and over the top for some. Granted this is coming from a woman who wore a green tartan skirt and apple red sweater to work, so you know that I’m not necessarily part of that group.
But for those of you who aren’t wanting to dress like a walking, talking Christmas billboard, may I suggest navy and silver?
I just recently got onto the navy and silver train when I saw the Kate Spade holiday collection. It’s full of, on one hand leopard print and red, but also navy blue dresses and skirts all with metallic accents. Why this combination of colors never occurred to me for the holidays, I can’t tell you.
Now we can’t all go out and fill our wardrobes with all Kate Spade party dresses (although a girl can always dream) so here are some ideas if you’re looking for a little something new that you can wear during the holidays and beyond!
