Holy moly this belly is looking big these days! I don’t think that I really started showing until around 18 weeks then a two week vacation away from the camera really took a toll and added some serious size to this bump. Regardless of my belly size, I’m starting to take my first tentative steps into maternity clothing (which actually ended up not being maternity at all.)
But onto the topic at hand. In a previous post, I mentioned that I want to be more embracing of fall this year. I’m a spring and summer girl at heart who loves the sunshine and the heat so the start of fall just goes and reminds me that, in the words of Game of Thrones, winter is coming.
This year I think that I’ll be leaning a lot of my fall outfits on layered dresses. It’s an easy enough equation. Find a dress (that fits) then simply add seasonally appropriate layers. Today that means adding a suede moto jacket and over the knee boots. I can see myself repeating this formula with various styles of dress/boot/jacket combinations.
A suede moto jacket is always on the lists that you see in magazines and articles about “top must have fall clothing items” and it’s one item that I actually don’t have in my closet. I borrowed this one from my friend Jenn and now I’m more resolved than ever to go find one for myself. I love the color and texture of the suede plus I can think of so many different ways to wear it. I’m currently crushing on this one in burgundy and this one in brown.
Do you have a suede moto jacket? How much wear do you get out of it in the fall? Let me know in the comments!
Until next time,
Ana Luiza

What a fabulous fall look! Love that jacket and all the olive green!
I don’t have a suede jacket either but may consider buying one! I love your plaid dress!
Baby bump perfection! It looks so good on you and hopefully you are feeling really good too. This is a great formula for fall and you’ve styled it so perfectly, I am especially loving that plaid dress but also the layers you chose are the perfect polishing off pieces.
