We are back from Europe and were greeted with fall in full force. From being in 80’s in Rome to morning temperatures in the 40’s here in Seattle. Hello Fall!
One place on our travels that was just tasting fall was London, our first stop. We were only there for two days but I can’t wait to go back! There was just so much to see and do that I think you could vacation there for over a week and still feel like you didn’t even scratch the surface. On our second day there, we left our AirBnb and went on the search for a little breakfast and coffee. We ended up settling for Pret A Manger (our food savior while traveling) mainly because it was right by the train station and we’ve had so much good luck with them in the past. After picking up our coffees and croissants, we strolled around the corner and settled in the Whitehall Gardens to enjoy our breakfast.
Throughout my packing process for this trip, I knew we’d hit varied weather in our different stops so I’m very glad that I planned out a couple cozier cool weather outfits just in case. The main staple for that was a warm layering sweater, namely this cashmere sweater. It added the perfect layer for keeping warm without adding any real bulk to my (new and changing) shape. I have this same sweater in about five different colors because it is a true fall and winter staple in my closet (and travel capsule closet).
What are your favorite fall go-to pieces that add the warmth without the bulk? Let me know in the comments below!
