The Sephora Beauty Insider event just opened up to the public and I’m using this as an opportunity to pick up a few clean skincare products I’ve been waiting to try.
What is the Sephora Beauty Insider event?
Basically, this is a sale for people who are signed up for Sephora’s rewards program. It’s free to join and you get free samples and gifts as you rack up points ($1 = 1 point). Once you’ve spent $350 you tier up to their VIB level (more perks) and at $1000 you tier up to Rouge. If you’re a VIB or a Rouge insider, then you already know this and have probably already shopped the sale (these tiers get first access to sales). However, all the Sephora Beauty Insiders like me are just starting to shop the insider event from May 2-6th.
How to find clean beauty products at Sephora
If you remember, I’ve been slowly switching over my skincare to all clean and safe options. Since I’m trying to make the switch without breaking the bank, I’ve been waiting for this sale for an opportunity to pick up some new products. I highly recommend taking advantage of sales and promos when switching to clean skincare and makeup since these items tend to be a little pricier. You’re getting a better-for-you product but this way you can also save a little $ at the same time.
Sephora has made shopping for clean skincare and makeup easy-peasy by including a filter in their search that is “Clean at Sephora”. These products have a little green check mark next to them so as you browse the site, you can easily identify products without sulfates, formaldehyde, mineral oil, etc. For the full list of ingredients that are excluded from the “Clean at Sephora” label, you can click on the product with the green seal of approval, then scroll down to the bottom of the item details for the complete list.
Keep reading for the list of products that I’m interested in trying out from the sale. I’m only going to end up with two or so products but these are all items that I’ve tried in the past, am interested in trying in the future, and are on my wishlist for future sales.
What skin care and makeup are you interested in trying out? Will you be picking up anything from the Sephora Beauty Insider event? Let me know in the comments!

Ok, I’m actually going to start with clean makeup because it is so hard to find any decent clean concealers. This one has fantastic reviews so I’d love to give it a try.
This is a beauty brand that I’ve heard loads about but have yet to try. This facial mist has a cult following and comes in a bunch of different sizes for people like me who want to test it out before committing to the full size (and full price)
This is a crowd favorite and I’d love to test it out. It is supposed to be good for eye bags and circles and whoa mama have I developed some tired eyes over the past three months.
I’ll be repurchasing this Argan oil because it’s my favorite night time moisturizer. It also comes in a light version that I might snag as well.
I’ve tried this Origins mask once before when I received it as tester and it was nice for the amount that I used it. It is supposed to be good for oilier skin, which is me in the summer months.
The #1 item on my shopping list for the Sephora Beauty Insider sale is a new sunscreen. I’ve been researching a bunch and have landed on this one from Supergoop. It’s supposed to be fantastic under makeup.
Drunk Elephant is a brand that I’ve heard so much about and I’m curious to test it out. This is a wishlist product for me however since I’m not currently in the market for a whole new routine. This set would be a great way to test out a bunch of their products at once.
I was sent this makeup remover as part of a PR package and I wanted to put it onto your radar because it’s fantastic! It gets every little bit of makeup off my face without stripping my skin plus it’s a clean product.
Another Boscia product that was sent in that PR pack was this mask. I love how it feels on my skin both during and after using it. It’s also really pretty in the
