Happy May Day! I hope you are enjoying a little or a lot of sunshine today. Since it’s a new month, I am rounding up all my “real life” outfits for you today. I share these on Instagram Stories in real time as well as on the LiketoKnow.it app if you don’t want to wait until the end of the month to see the shopping details.

JEANS: J.Jill c/o (These are actually denim leggings but you could never tell by looking at them. They look like skinny jeans and feel like skinny jeans only I’d recommend sizing down. You can read the entire review I wrote on them here.)// SHIRT: Old Navy (An oldie but a goodie. I like that this chambray button up isn’t overly fitted. It’s also just the right price!) // SHOES: Talbots (I found these secondhand but they are quite similar to this pair that I’ve been eyeing. I’ve decided to embrace the short heel for my #momwardrobe) // BAG: Old Navy (This bag has held up surprisingly well for the price. If you’re looking for another affordable option that is a little higher quality, I’d try this reversible option) // SWEATER BLAZER: J.Crew (It’s an all time favorite. I have an entire review on it here. I may or may not have just purchased it in a third color…) // SUNGLASSES: Amazon (These are some of the only sunglasses I own because for $10 they can’t be beat. Especially by someone notorious for sitting on and breaking sunglasses.)// LIPSTICK: BeautyCounter

SHIRT: old Target (very similar here. I love a good tissue turtleneck. These are great for layering and get me through the winter.) // JEANS: J.Jill c/o (These are actually denim leggings but you could never tell by looking at them. They look like skinny jeans and feel like skinny jeans only I’d recommend sizing down. You can read the entire review I wrote on them here.)// // BOOTS: Stuart Weitzman (These are pricey boots but I get so much wear out of them in the fall-winter months. If you are looking for a more affordable alternative, check out this post where I highlight a bunch of great options)// BAG: Old Navy (This bag has held up surprisingly well for the price. If you’re looking for another affordable option that is a little higher quality, I’d try this reversible option) // TRENCH: J.Crew (This is probably my most worn coat that I’ve had for years and sadly it’s starting to show. I’m looking to replace it with this trench coat that is known to be warmer)
JEANS: J.Jill c/o (These are actually denim leggings but you could never tell by looking at them. They look like skinny jeans and feel like skinny jeans only I’d recommend sizing down. You can read the entire review I wrote on them here.) // SHIRT: J.Crew c/o (This striped boatneck shirt is a staple in any wardrobe. I wore my old one so much while I was pregnant that I stretched it out and had to replace it. I honestly can’t live without it) // SHOES: Talbots (I found these secondhand but they are quite similar to this pair that I’ve been eyeing. I’ve decided to embrace the short heel for my #momwardrobe)// SUNGLASSES: Amazon (Seriously can’t beat this $10 pair) // LIPSTICK: BeautyCounter (I’ve been switching over my skincare to cleaner, safer products and one of the big categories that I’m trying to tackle is lipstick. We basically eat the stuff so why are we using chemical-laden products? I like this color-intense option from Beautycounter so far although it’s not long wearing.)
SWEATER: old Michael Kors (This one is really similar and I’m honestly considering it to my wishlist) // JEANS: J.Jill c/o (These are actually denim leggings but you could never tell by looking at them. They look like skinny jeans and feel like skinny jeans only I’d recommend sizing down. You can read the entire review I wrote on them here.) // SHOES: Chanel (These are another secondhand item that are worth the money in my opinion. I just love that they are a classic staple and go with anything. However that being said, these look very similar but without the designer pricetag. // TRENCH: J.Crew (This is probably my most worn coat that I’ve had for years and sadly it’s starting to show. I’m looking to replace it with this trench coat that is known to be warmer)
BLAZER: J.Crew (also available here. I love that this is a structured version of my all-time favorite blazer. While it’s a pricey option, you can find a more affordable version here) // SWEATER: old Michael Kors (This one is really similar and I’m honestly considering it to my wishlist) // JEANS: J.Jill c/o (These are actually denim leggings but you could never tell by looking at them. TRENCH VEST: old Target (This is actually a trench dress that you can see on me here. This one seems pretty similar) // SHIRT: J.Crew c/o (This striped boatneck shirt is a staple in any wardrobe. I wore my old one so much while I was pregnant that I stretched it out and had to replace it. I honestly can’t live without it) // JEANS: J.Jill c/o (These are actually denim leggings but you could never tell by looking at them.
