If you’ve been around these parts for a while, you know that I love a good shirtdress. Especially in the summertime, they are the perfect grab-and-go option for work and the weekend. I got this one secondhand last month and I’m super happy with it. It’s basically wrinkle-proof which means that I’m WAY more likely to wear it.

What’s on deck this weekend?
I’m saying goodbye to a friend of mine from the gym on Saturday. She teaches one of the classes that attend but she’s moving out of the state in a couple of weeks. On Saturday we’re having a TurboKick blowout goodbye to celebrate her move.
In happier news, Andrew had his 31st birthday this week so we’re probably going to do something as a family to celebrate. I’m hoping that the weather gets better for the weekend and we might go to one of the concerts in the park or picnic at the beach.

I don’t think that I’ve ever seen a dress that screams Ana Luiza more than this one from Boden. It comes in a bunch of different prints but this blue stripe one takes the cake. If it’s wrinkle resistant then it was truly made for me 😉
This emerald green shirtdress is high on my radar right now. The color looks so vibrant and would transition easily from season to season as well as from work to weekend.

I’m also totally loving this blue and white striped shirt dress. I think that the length is just right – not too short, not too long.

This is a mini shirt dress from Everlane. It’s a brand that I’m not super familiar with myself but I’ve heard so many great things about them. This style is a little more modern if you’re looking for a twist on a classic.
J.Crew always has good options when it comes to shirt dresses and this one is no different.
I love the tri-color stripes and the flutter high/low hem.
