Happy weekend! I hope you’re having a good one. Around these parts, I’m still trying to get back on the wagon post-vacation but I think I’m almost there. Yesterday I gave myself a swift kick in the pants and got down to business. After Teddy’s first nap of the day, I dropped him off at my gym’s daycare and sat in the lobby and got a couple of hours of work done. By the time we ran to the store to grab lunch and got home, he was ready for another nap so I was able to get a couple more hours of computer work done.
I try really hard to be present with him when it’s just the two of us. I don’t want to constantly be behind a screen while he’s awake. I’d rather be working when he’s asleep, then with him when he’s awake. If I try to do both at the same time, nothing ends up getting done or it’s just poor quality work so there’s really no point in trying.
A couple of other things going on. I’ll be hosting the ‘With a Twist’ event at J.Crew in Bellevue Square tomorrow! I hope to see all my local people there. If you aren’t local and can’t make it, I’ll be doing an Instagram Live during the event. I partnered with J.Crew Bellevue in the spring for a similar event and it was a really fun time. Working with J.Crew has been a big goal of mine since I started blogging so getting to work with them on a local level has been a big milestone for me. I hope to see you all there on Sunday!
With all that out of the way, here are a couple of things that are in my virtual shopping cart!
Few people know this about me but I’m VERY particular when it comes to pajamas. I only ever wear long sleeves with shorts on the bottom and it’s such a hard combination to find. This set fits the bill and is cute!
This dress just looks so beautiful! I’ve seen in on a couple of different body types (via Instagram) and I can’t believe how flattering it is on all shapes.
I don’t know where I’d wear it but I like it!
I need to stop talking about this trench coast and just buy it already. I’ve been thinking about it for over a year and now that the rainy season has started here in Seattle, I need to make a decision.
I know that bows aren’t as popular as they were a couple of years ago but how cute is this blouse?! I’d wear it under a lightweight sweater in the fall to still feel feminine even in the colder months.
Another item that I just need to stop talking about and buy already are these Blondo ankle boots.
This looks A LOT like a J.Crew dress that I passed on last year. It’s my second chance plus it’s cheaper than the J.Crew version
A couple of weeks ago I shared a knit oxford shirt that was in my virtual shopping cart. Well, this one is supposed to be pretty similar but is a little bit more affordable. Reviews say you need to size up though.
