Ok here is the second retailer-specific gift guide for this year (read the first one here). According to the reader survey some of you so graciously filled out, one of the top stores you shop at is Nordstrom. Quality brands, great selection, and world-renown return policy. Check, check, check! Plus I used to work at the flagship here in Seattle, so I have an extra special spot in my heart for Nordstrom.
Well, they are another fantastic retailer where you can easily shop for everyone in your family. I know I certainly do. Nordstrom also makes it really easy to shop their website for gifts as they break everything down by category (him, her, baby, etc) and by price (under $25, under $50, etc) which I really appreciate. However as they generally have higher quality and higher-priced items, I tend to only shop at Nordstrom for my inner circle. Andrew, my parents, basically just my immediate family and closest friends. So today I wanted to share ten gift ideas from Nordstrom for all the people in your inner circle. Mom, dad, sister, brother, the kiddos are all covered!
Nordstrom Gift Guide 2019
For your guy
1. Patagonia Nano Puff Vest – $150
This lightweight puffer vest is water and windproof plus is eco-friendly as it’s made from recycled materials. Plus Patagonia products are made to last so you know he’ll be able to wear this vest for years.
2. Nike Killshot 2 – $90
These classic but slightly retro sneakers would look good on any guy. Plus they’d be a great casual option for the Nike fan in your life without being Air Jordans. (is my ignorance of men’s sneakers showing yet?)

Nordstrom teased that this cardigan will be part of their Cyber Sale and the price drops today! Seriously these will sell out as they are so soft and warm but also oh so popular.
4. La Mer Mini Miracles Set – $90
Get some lux skincare for mom this Christmas. This set comes with the Rejuvenating Serum and the popular Creme de la Mer moisturizer. There are a couple of other sets with slightly different products for the same price point.
For your dad
5. Ray-Ban Classic Wayfarer Sunglasses – $153
Keep dad looking sharp in a new pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses. These are the sunglasses that my dad prefers and has worn for as long as I can remember. Nordstrom Rack also has a selection of Ray-Ban sunglasses
6. Cruiser Delux Turntable – $69
What a fun throwback for dad! This portable turntable has Bluetooth capabilities so your dad can listen to his old records anywhere in the house if paired with the correct speaker system. This turntable plus a Sonos speaker ($199) would be a very merry Christmas.
For the kiddos
7. FAO Schwarz Piano Dance Mat – $80
How cool is this?! I think it would be a total hit Christmas morning. I remember this section of the FAO Schwarz store always being crowded with kids (and parents) who wanted a turn playing the piano.
8. Hunter Rain Boots – $55
What kid doesn’t like splashing in muddy puddles (thanks Peppa Pig)? Get your little ones their first pair of Hunter rain boots that will keep them dry even as they go play in the mud.
For your girlfriends
9. Zella Live-In Leggings – $59
These ultra-popular leggings are perfect for working out but also for running errands on the weekend. Select colors are part of Nordstrom’s Cyber Sale selection. Get your girlfriends (or sisters) one of these personalized necklaces from Kate Spade. It’s really nice day-to-day jewelry and would be a great gift for someone just starting out wearing jewelry.
