Let me introduce you to the newest member of my wardrobe, the Sanctuary Everyday Midi Skirt in leopard print.
So this skirt was a little “Happy Birthday to me” present and I’m so so pleased with it! I saw Jessica Sturdy wearing this skirt ages ago and completely fell in love. I didn’t jump to buy it right away however because 1) I was pregnant at the time so I wasn’t really shopping much and 2) because she’s a “cool girl” in my mind and I am not.
Well, time passed and I kept this skirt on my radar as it went out of stock over the summer but then came back a couple of months ago for the fall. Then right around the time of my birthday, I saw a Facebook or Google ad showing that it was back in stock AND on sale! Obviously it was meant to be, right?! (Not just the algorithm working its magic…)
Now I have this lovely skirt in my hot little hands and it’s about to be winter. So what’s a girl to do? Obviously, figure out as many ways as possible how to wear a midi skirt in the fall and winter.
How I’m Wearing a Leopard Print Skirt for Fall
With a sweater, duh. If clothing were different love languages, sweaters would be mine. I personally opted for this everyday cashmere sweater. It’s a simple crew neck that I get TONS of wear out of, as I wear it at least once a week throughout winter. Plus it’s on sale for under $100. What’s not to love about that combo?
You can also easily wear this same skirt with a solid black turtleneck. A sweater would be the warmest option but I’m also a fan of how it looks with a solid tissue turtleneck from J.Crew. They are a forever favorite that are ideal for winter layering.
How to make this work for winter and colder weather? I’d just swap out the heels for OTK boots. You can add even more warmth to the look by wearing your warmest fleece-lined leggings underneath. That’s one of my top tricks for wearing dresses and skirts in colder weather.
Want to wear this skirt for a holiday party? I’d swap out the sweater for a slinky cami. Then it’s just adding your favorite pair of pumps and you’re ready to party.
Expect to be seeing more of this skirt in the near future. I’m excited to wear it transitionally throughout fall and winter.

Hi Ana,
I’m delighted to see you wear this Leopard Sanctuary Everyday Mid-Length Skirt that looks great on the color of your eyes. I would slip in with joy like a black sweater or a turtleneck in the skin of a black leopard. With the approach of winter, nothing is more sweet and exciting than to approach such a beautiful panther so fierce and ardent.
