This is a product that I talk about on my Instagram Stories with certain regularity but don’t often touch on here on the blog. Which is remiss of me as Northwest Blonde’s chief beauty editor, it’s my job to keep you abreast on all the latest and greatest products 😉 Well, strap in because this is probably going to turn into a love story about the Revlon Volumizing Styler.
I discovered this hair tool over two years ago now and it has since BLOWN UP. It has over 33,000 reviews on Amazon rating it at 4.5 stars. And all of this attention it deserves.
This hair dryer will change your blowout game. If you can’t for the life of you figure out how to blow dry your hair with a round brush, this is the perfect hack. It will give you salon-worthy blowouts at home in record-breaking time and without the arm workout that is juggling a hairdryer and round brush. I kid you not.
As someone who spent a large portion of her twenties trying to perfect the at-home blowout and never succeeding, this Revlon hair tool was the answer to my hair prayers.
Revlon Volumizing Styler Review
What is it?
So this is a hairdryer that is in the shape of a round brush. Think of the old school straightening brushes but rather than keep it flat with the bristles on one side, it’s an oval shape with bristles all the way around. What you end up with is a hairdryer that eliminates the need for a round brush.
Where Can I Find It?
Basically, anywhere you would normally buy a hairdryer. Target, Amazon, Walmart, the list goes on. I bought mine at Ulta but I’ve since seen them cheaper on Amazon.
How Much Does it Cost?
Depending on where you buy it, around $50. Sometimes they’ll go on sale
How Well Does It Really Work?
Well, I have long but thin and fine hair. From towel-dried (think I got out of the shower, put my hair in a turban towel, got dressed, and put on my makeup) to full blowdry, it takes me about ten minutes. I’ve also heard from other people on Instagram who have purchased it, that it’s cut their dry/style time down.
So to recap, this is an amazing revolutionary product that will up your hair game. Con? You’ll have to start upper body workouts again once you ditch your hairdryer and round brush combo. But for easy at-home blowouts, I’ll take it!
