J.Crew Headband // Red Nail Polish // Phone Case
I love that headbands are still having a moment. Much like loafers, I used to wear them constantly as a kid then again when Gossip Girl was on the air. Last year when the over-the-top, pearl-encrusted ones started coming into fashion I wasn’t ready to jump in because something that over-the-top just isn’t’ really my style. However now that it’s been a year and the style has moderated a bit, I’m all on-board.
I wanted to share three of my favorites with you today. These should work well for you if you, like me, have a big head. Says nothing about our personalities but it does make it hard to find cute headbands that don’t give you a throbbing headache by mid-morning. So if you’re like me, these headbands are for you!
J.Crew Leopard Print Turban Knot Headband
This is one of my favorites but I don’t wear it as often as I should. It’s in the turban knotted style but it doesn’t sit up that high on your head and look conspicuous. You can see it on me in this post. I also find it to be quite comfortable. It doesn’t squeeze or put pressure on my head even after all-day wear.
If you want the look for less, J.Crew Factory has a very similar headband for half the price. The print is slightly different but the style is the same, leopard print turban knot.
Target x Sincerely Jules Headband
This is the most comfortable headband I own. I have a bigger head and this $10 Target headband never squeezes or makes my head hurt. Honestly, it was such a great find. I wear it constantly too, especially on days when I don’t have time to do my hair.
Side note: there’s also a pink version of this headband but that style is too loose. It falls right off with just a little movement. I’ve never been able to make it work for me.
J.Crew Woolen Plaid Check Headband
This is a current sale item if you want to grab it for $6. I love it for the fall and winter because it adds a little something to my simple “mom-duty” outfits. However, this one does start to hurt after a few hours. I’ll be good in the morning but then have to take a break from it in the afternoon.
