similar wide-leg jeans // newer red sweater (these cashmere ones are pretty affordable and so comfortable!) // Chanel flats (similar ones that are very reasonably priced. You can see how I found my Chanel flats for half price here) // GiGi New York ‘Chelsea’ bag c/o //
The next couple of weeks is going to be really sale, shopping, and gift guide heavy so I wanted to break it up with an outfit post. I know that all the gift guides and “SALE! SALE! SALE!” can be overwhelming this time of year so I want to be conscious that I’m not adding too much to the fervor. That being said, I have yet another gift guide coming at ya tomorrow. This one breaks down gifts by price point so you can find affordable gifts no matter your budget.
Can you believe that next week is already Thanksgiving?! Since our holiday is going to be just us, I’m planning a much smaller menu for Thanksgiving. One of my favorite vegan cooking blogs, It Doesn’t Taste Like Chicken, shared a really great post about planning a Thanksgiving meal for two that I’m following. We cut out all the meat dishes (obviously) but also all the sides that neither of us likes. I think we’ll have stuffed acorn squash, mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, green beans (not in casserole form), cranberry sauce, and pie. Only the good stuff 😉
In other news, I had Renee Shaw IT working on the back end of this site last week and I’m very happy with the results. She optimized my site speed so I hope you are enjoying the much faster loading times. Back when I first started blogging, I tried to do all the back-end work myself and I think that was the last time anything ever got optimized on here. Needless to say, the work she did was much needed.
Finally, I want to call out this cashmere sweater as being a fan favorite in our household. It’s a simple crewneck design but it comes in SO MANY colors! Wear the rainbow if you want. It’s also under $100 and goes on sale frequently so it’s really affordable as far as cashmere goes. Andrew has the men’s version of it as well. Like I said, a fan favorite!
See you tomorrow with another gift guide!
