J.Crew released their spring collection and I finally took a few minutes to look through the new items and I have to say, it’s a return to basics and classics. If you’re looking for spring/summer staples, this is the collection for you. Think old school J.Crew. Lots of button-downs and poplin but with a side of cashmere sweatpants because #pandemic.
J.Crew Spring 2021
Some highlights IMO:
- The same colors run throughout a lot of the collection including a pretty dusty rose, bright blue, and a deep hunter green
- These linen shorts are back this year. I tried to get a pair last year but they sold out multiple times. Order these early!
- Sophie sweater blazer back in new colors. Love the dusty rose.
- This sweater tank shell reminds me of something my grandmother would have worn but with a modern twist
- I would get this sweatshirt dress and this colorful sweatshirt monogrammed.

The Ella sweater blazer (Sophie’s cool downtown cousin) is also back in a few new seasonal colors.

I love the v-neck version of this boyfriend sweater. It’s cashmere and there are so many color options.
A more casual sweater pick. I definitely would get this monogrammed. There are a bunch of bright spring colors and reviewers said to size up for a loose “cool-girl” fit.
Not everyone’s cup of tea but these sweater tanks remind me of my grandmother. This is a modern take on something she would have worn.
The tanks have matching cardigan sweaters to complete the set. Again very grandma Mary (my g-ma) but more modern and relaxed in colors and fit.
They are both a cashmere-blend.
Pull on pants but with a button to fool everyone else. What’s not to love?

I love this classic button-up shirt dress. It could even double as a beach cover-up.
I like this thin red ticking stripe but it also comes in a beautiful wider green stripe
I have an older version of this same dress and it’s great for casual every day in the spring and summer in Seattle.
Another sweatshirt dress that would be nice for pandemic life. I’d monogram this too.
The dreamy collection joggers are restocked! So comfy!
They have a pretty lilac color for spring as well as navy and grey.
