Happy Monday! I’m just popping in for a quick hello.
These pictures are from a few weeks ago when I was helping my friend Megan shoot a project. I can’t tell you how good it felt to get fully dressed up (hair, full face of makeup, the works) and slip into a dress. It was the first time in a while that I’d worn a dress as well. Let me just say that the combination did good things for my soul.
I’m happy that I have another opportunity to get all dolled up with Easter coming in a couple of weeks. It’s one of my favorite holidays because it ties in fun home decor, celebrating with family, brunch, special church services, and a reason to get everyone in their Sunday best.
This dress from the Loft that I’m wearing would be a good option for an Easter dress. It’s a little more conservative with the long sleeves but there are also short sleeve options that can easily be dressed up with heels but be worn more casually as well with a belt, denim jacket, and sneakers.
