Happy Nordstrom Public Access Day!
Today is the day that the sale opens to all of us who don’t have Nordstrom credit cards. I hope you have your favorite items picked out since things tend to go fast once the sale opens to the public. But don’t fret if your favorites are sold out. The sale is going to run until August 30th and there will probably be at least one more restock of the super hot items before the end of the sale.
I placed my order this morning for all of two items. LOL. I ordered this bra and this sunscreen. Being pregnant isn’t super conducive to clothing shopping in my experience.
In case you need a refresher, here’s a highlight of what’s on sale and worth your while IMO.
Beauty and Skincare
- Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Set – This is what I’m currently using as serum and eye cream. It’s excellent quality and has lasted me since Christmas (I received it as a gift). The set is normally $150 so now you can get it for under $100.
- Supergoop Full Size Play Sunscreen 3-Pack – Again, I love Supergoop sunscreen and will be stocking up. This spray is easy to use on my son so I want as much as possible on hand for the rest of the summer.
- L’Occitane Shower Oil – This is such a lux beauty product. It feels and smells amazing when you use it plus this makes a great gift.
- Oleplex Bonder System – I used to use the Oleplex No.3 on my fried hair for years with amazing results. Your hair will feel like you never color-treated it.

Women Clothes and Accessories
- True & Co Bralette – I ordered this bra after hearing from many many moms that it’s so comfortable and great for pre and post-pregnancy.
- Spanx faux leather leggings – These are cult favorites and a staple for a lot of people’s fall and winter wardrobes. I’m getting a pair but the maternity version for myself this fall.
- Sam Edelman Trench Coat – This is a fantastic deal on a quality trench coat. I love that there’s a hood and that it’s not too long.
- Ray Ban Wayfarer Sunglasses – Somehow these are still available! These sunglasses are a classic that will never go out of style.
- Natori Bra – These bras are fantastic (I have an entire review here) but expensive. They are included in the sale and if I wasn’t pregnant, I’d be stocking up.
Lots of things are starting to sell out but if you have your eye set on something, check back often as things are being returned and restocked until the end of the sale in August

Toddler and Baby Boys
- Northface ThermoBall Hooded Jacket – These are worth the splurge if you live somewhere wet AND cold like us. Ted has had one for the past two years.
- Fleece Wearable Blanket – These are great if you have winter babies. They will stay cozy and warm without you stressing about it.
- Baby Hooded Bunting – Again if you have winter babies (raises hand), these are really nice. My son had one of these as his going home outfit.
- Uppababy Vista Travel System – One of the big-ticket items that are totally worth getting during the sale are stroller travel systems like the Uppababy Vista. This would normally be over $1,000 but is $700 during the sale. It can hold up to three children at a time so may be worth the investment if you plan on having multiple children relatively close in age.
