Welcome back to the next installment of Taking a Blonde Moment. This is a monthly segment meant to be a more casual and breezy post where I can share things that don’t fit into other blog posts. Articles I’ve read, things I’ve purchased, weekend plans, etc.
Take a Blonde Moment
-As if the news coming out of Afghanistan couldn’t get any worse, surprise, it can. It has felt incredibly heavy and heartbreaking over the past weeks, reflecting back on this war and conflict that has defined my adolescence and adulthood. If you’re feeling at sea on how to help, here are a few resources that can give you actionable steps on how to help.
-I’ve been tempted to get the Dyson Airwrap, especially when I saw that they have them on (minor) sale at Nordstrom Rack. But then I actually took the time to do my hair with the trusty Revlon Volumizing Styler and I was reminded that it’s an amazing and affordable hair tool.
–These flats are 1000% on my fall shopping list!
–Jess Ann Kirby x Able Collection launched earlier this week and it’s *chef’s kiss* I got this sweater which will be perfect for pre and post-baby bump since it is tunic length.
-I’ve been getting rid of quite a few of my clothes and higher-end pieces. The RealReal has been an amazing resource for selling designer items and I can’t recommend their service enough. I chatted with a person on FaceTime who looked at my items then emailed me prepaid shipping labels for everything. I’m so happy to have a hands-off approach to consigning my clothes, shoes, and bags. Poshmark can be a lot of work.
-Andrew installed our new kitchen floor and it looks good! We’ve had a temporary floor in since Memorial Day weekend and I’m beyond grateful that the permanent floor is in before Labor Day. #bless
-My friend Megan had her baby girl! Welcome to the world baby Charlotte!
Until next time,
