Monogrammed Basket Bag

Happy Monday all! After the record-breaking heat here in Seattle this weekend, I’m sad to be headed off into my over-air-conditioned office for the week. However, I’ll have a hint of summer with me in the office thanks to this new straw tote bag. It arrived on Friday and hasn’t left my shoulder since! I know that monogrammed accessories are nothing new but I’ve never owned a monogrammed item myself. It almost is making me feel southern 😉

I have to say that I don’t just love this bag because of it’s personalized monogram but also because a fellow blogger made it. If you don’t already follow her, Cara of Caralina Style is worth checking out. I’ve been following her on her blog and social since we were both in college and now she has been branching out from fashion blogging into fitness AND started an Etsy shop where she hand paints these personalized bags.

I really do love when you can watch a friend or colleague take an idea and turn it into reality. I’ve seen it with friends here in Seattle and I love being able to support others who I feel like I know even from afar.
