30 Days to Fit

Hi guys!
So I was told the other day that we are only six weeks away from Christmas and I almost freaked! Because I hadn’t started my gift shopping? No (ok, maybe a little).
I’m headed to a warm tropical climate for Christmas and that means that I only have five weeks to get into beach body shape!
Now I’m in overall alright shape. I’m young and eat well and occasionally exercise however I wouldn’t say that I’m entirely comfortable putting on a tiny bikini right about now.
I’m taking some action in this coming month to get fit so that I can feel my best when I head to the beach in December. I’ve committed myself to doing three things to reach my fitness goal.
Take a look!

1) Exercise More

I am not a huge fan of exercising on my own (or of the gym in general). I have a hard time going to the gym and doing set exercises by myself. So for this month, I am going to try something different.

ClassPass recently launched here in Seattle. It is a service for people just like me, who struggle with working out alone and staying motivated. ClassPass allows me to take classes at studios and gyms all across the city. I get to pick what I’m in the mood for and then reserve a space in a class ahead of schedule. Pilates, spin, yoga, barre, bootcamp, you name it! It also allows for me to exercise and get fit in a group setting, which is much more fun.
Reserving classes ahead of schedule will also help keep me on track as it sets a schedule for me. I can have it in my calendar ahead of time rather than forcing myself to go to the gym on the daily.
I have my first class scheduled for this weekend and am excited to see how it works out!
So far ClassPass is in seven major U.S. cities and are planning to launch in several others shortly.
If you are interested in signing up for ClassPass, visit their site HERE to see if and when they will launch in your town!

2) Eat More Greens

I used to hit the kale pretty hard but recently have been eating many more carbs than fruits and veggies. My goal for this month is to incorporate greens into at least two (if not all three) meals a day.

3) Drink More Water (and less coffee)

I always try to get at least 60 ounces in a day but lately have been having trouble hitting the mark. Especially since an espresso machine made its way into my life, my water intake has been on the down low. For the next month+ my goal is to keep coffee at one cup a day and consistently carry around my H2O bottle.

Those are my fitness goals for the month.
Do you have any fitness goals for the end of the year?
Share them with me and we can support each other in becoming the healthiest us we can be!

Until next time,
