I went on a little shopping trip over the past month, getting some things for Fall and Winter. I stopped by three stores, Target, Forever 21, and TJ Maxx, for these items. So far I love most of them and can see myself using them all winter long.

Heeled Ankle Boots
These are going to be my winter heels this year, as they were the only pair I found that looked as if they could stand up to the rain. The heel is around 3.5-4 inches tall but the shoes are actually quite comfortable to walk in. They also have grips on the bottom that will allow for better traction in the wet weather.
Forever 21
Slouchy Plum Sweater
This is a basic plum colored sweater (I was actually looking for one in camel brown) that is loose and slouchy. It is a simple piece that will work well to throw-and-go with the right jewelry and heels.

Emerald 3/4 Sleeve Sweater
This sweater was an instant favorite of mine. I included it in my October Favorites because it is cozy, soft, and warm but still has a little bit of shape so I don’t look like a blob.

Grey Tunic
This is another instant hit from the haul. It is a grey tunic with a shark bit cut on the bottom. I love throwing this sweater on with leggings. It will be a favorite during the winter months as it too is a throw-on-and-go sort of piece.

Sunglasses
The entire reason I went into Forever 21 was to get these sungalsses, as I didn’t have any on me during a really sunny patch of weather. They remind me of my Celine Dupe sunnies but with a little bit more retro flair
Brass Necklace
This is a cute little statement necklace. I think it is a good way to dip my toes into bolder jewelry without it being overly flashy or gaudy. It looks good on both patterned shirts and solid prints making it pretty versatile.
TJ Maxx
White Fitted Shirt
This shirt reminded me of Sandy from the movie Grease in the final scenes. This is an almost off the shoulder boat neck fitted white shirt. it is a basic piece that I like wearing either alone tucked in or underneath other pieces
Faux Leather Leggings
I was surprised that I liked these leggings as much as I do. They are thick material so they could, theoretically, double as pants. They also have a strip of faux leather down either side, front zippers, and faux pockets on the back.
American Eagle Jacket
This cropped Chanel-wannabe coat might be going back to its home. I was on the fence when I tried it on in store and have wavered even more since bringing it home. It is a short coat with long sleeves and a sparkly thread running through the entire thing
