The Best Wrinkle Resistant Clothing

Lysse Button Down Shirt (This shirt is fantastic if you’re looking for wrinkle-resistant travel shirt. However, the fabric does take some getting used to. It’s a strange blend that feels like nothing else in my closet) // J.Jill Demim Leggings ℅ (These have been a lifesaver since having Teddy. They are comfortable like leggings but look and fit exactly like jeans. I have an entire review dedicated to them here) // Madewell Loafers (I totally love these loafers. They broke in within the first wear and they are super comfortable. I went up to a 7.5 instead of a 7 and they fit perfectly.) // Longchamps Bag (I’ve had this bag for years but just recently started using it as a baby bag. It can fit all of Teddy’s stuff plus my wallet, keys, snacks, etc and zip closed. I love it!) // Amazon Sunglasses (These are $10 and thank god because I break sunglasses somewhat frequently)

I was really torn if I should title this post Best Wrinkle Resistant Clothes for Moms or The Best Wrinkle Resistant Clothes for Travel. Since having Teddy, the wrinklebility of clothes has become a huge factor in whether I end up wearing them or not. This isn’t totally new to me though. Back in the pre-baby days when I was able to travel for weeks at a time with only a carryon, having wrinkle resistant clothing was a huge bonus. No need to waste precious travel time ironing/steaming clothes (jk I never did that. I’d just be wrinkly).

Anyways, I have a handful of favorites that I wear over and over again now because I can wear them all day, carrying a baby on my hip, and not look like a wrinkled mess by the end of the day. Winning!

Lysse ‘Travel’ Shirt

I heard about this shirt from Kelly in the City and it’s fantastic! Everything from my wrinkle-free dreams and more. I wore this on the plane to and from Houston and it looked fine by the end of both travel days. Another time I was wearing it, I spilled coffee down the front. After a spin in the wash, it came out looking like new. And yet another time I splattered tomato sauce on it and same results, although I did hit it with stain remover beforehand just to make sure.

J.Crew Jamie Pants

These used to be called the Drapey pull-on pants and they are another fantastic wrinkle-resistant find. I used to love these for the office since the front of them don’t get all wrinkled even after sitting for hours on end. I have an entire post dedicated to them here where I go into great detail about my love for them.

Rachel Parcell Shirtdress

This dress is my go-to everyday dress. It worked for the office with a cardigan and heels but I also wear it on the weekend with sandals. It’s another piece that travels so well. I’ve worn it on multiple trips including this one to LA. It’s nice to have it on trips that require both casual and dressier outfits because it can cross that divide. And again, it’s wrinkle resistant. This shirtdress has been going in and out of stock at Nordstrom so if you see one in your size, I’d snap it up quick. It’s currently available in navy and red.

J.Crew Tie-neck Shirt

This is a shirt that I bought back when I was pregnant but have been wearing a bunch now. It’s a classic polka dot look that looks like silk but is wrinkle resistant and machine washable! I haven’t traveled with it yet but I’m planning on taking it with me on a couple trips that we have planned this fall to New York. I have high hopes!
