We’re in November so you know what that means, right? Happy Valentines Day!
I’m just kidding but now that we are in November I can finally admit to myself that I need to gear up for “the Holidays”. Every year, it starts a little earlier. I was in Costco in late September and they already had wreaths and ornaments up and ready to go. That will never be me. I’m just not that person.
However, I know I’m in the minority and lots of you have already started your holiday shopping.
I wanted to share my plan for holiday content with you guys so you can let me know if you want more/less/anything specific.
Gift Guides
Ahh, gift guides, my least favorite part of the holidays. Not that I don’t use them. Trust me I’m always googling things like “thoughtful gifts under $50” mid-December because I’m a hypocrite but I don’t particularly like putting them together. They just aren’t my creative strong spot.
In past years I’ve generally published only a handful of holiday gift guides. Affordable gifts for him and her (under $100 generally), stocking stuffers under $25, and my really last-minute gift guide. This year I’m thinking to supplement those with an Amazon-specific gift guide and maybe one more. Another retailer-specific gift guide? Gifts that I personally own? Gifts that give back? NWBlonde Best of Gift Guides? You let me know if you have any requests.
Look out for those in the coming weeks. I want to be useful to you early birds who are on top of your holiday shopping.
Holiday Outfits
One part of the holiday season that I love are all the reasons to get dressed up. Holiday parties, family photos, I’ll take any excuse to get festive. This year I think that most of my outfit content will lean towards the casual or dressy-casual side unless I hear otherwise. My day-to-day life just doesn’t include many reasons to get all glammed up anymore.
I’ll try to continue to share mini-reviews of my outfits in all the posts where that may be relevant if you find that helpful.
Other Topics
In regards to other topics that might have a winter or holiday feel. I was thinking of sharing a post regarding holiday travel with a baby in tow. We have some travel starting this month and I can give you my two cents on various modes of travel with a baby.
Beauty wise, I know that I’ll be sharing my winter skincare routine (requested via the 2019 reader survey), my lazy girl’s 5 minutes blow out (requested via Instagram), and my 5-minute go-to holiday makeup (spoiler alert, it’s all about red lipstick).
Is there any other lifestyle, motherhood, or beauty content you might like to see? Just let me know and I’ll put it on the calendar
So that’s my plan regarding holiday content. If you have any requests, feel free to drop me a line and I’d be only too happy to include your requests to the calendar. So let’s all buckle up since it’s red cup season.
Until next time,
Ana Luiza
