Hi guys!
As we go deeper and deeper into Fall, I wanted to do another “How to Wear (blank)” regarding riding boots. These are a staple wardrobe piece and have been everywhere on Pinterest, Instagram, and all the style blogs I follow. I thought to put together a few different ways to wear your favorite riding boots so we can all get plenty of wear out of the shoes we love!
Take a look!
Basic Staple
So we all know this look. Boots, jeans, tee, and a basic button up (chambray or flannel preferably). This is the combo that I see most used while wearing riding boots. It is a great look for the weekends that can look cute while still being comfy and casual. Although, beware if you are tempted to wear this look with leggings rather than jeans. I have recently heard that look referred to as the “sorority girl uniform”
Weekend Comfort
Wearing a tunic (that covers the bum of course) is a great way to wear leggings and boots together. It is another way to break out your boots on casual days and stay comfy.
(Please excuse my makeshift tunic. I don’t own any because they are not a flattering look on me but I find it to be a great look on others that I wanted to include it.)

Dressing It Up
Try wearing riding boots with a dress that is two steps up from casual take your boots from the weekend and into your weekdays. With the right dress and add-ons, your boots can become workplace ready or at least not only relegated to the weekend.
Casual Night Out
With a body-con dress, boots, and a leather jacket you are ready for a laid back night out. Whether it is with your man, your girls, or your family, this look is appropriate for all. Covered up and not showing too much but still flaunts what you’ve got and has some sass. It is also an easy way to be dressed for an evening if you really aren’t wanting to make the effort. 😉
Office Wear
Pair your boots with a form fitting skirt and button up for another versitile look. I find that when I wear outfits like this one, simply changing the shirt and jewelry makes this a work appropriate look for any office below the corporate level.
What are your favorite ways of wearing riding boots?
Also, what would you like to see next in “How to Wear ____”?
